Privacy Policy

Segna Tile Inc. runs a tile and stone studio in Lomita, California. This page explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and how to ask us to stop.

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site (the contact form, the design consultation booking form, or the trade program application), we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), company and role (trade applications), and any project details you share. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations, and administer trade accounts. It is stored in our database and read by the studio. We do not send it to advertising platforms.

Information collected automatically

If you arrive from a Google ad, the click identifier Google adds to the link (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) is stored in a first-party cookie named st_attr, together with any campaign tags in the URL, the page you landed on, and the site that referred you. If you later submit a form, that record is saved alongside your inquiry so we can tell which advertising actually reaches people. It holds no name, email address or phone number, and it expires after 90 days.

Cookies and analytics

This site loads Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking through a single Google tag. Between them they set first-party cookies, such as _ga and the _gcl_*family, to tell returning browsers apart and to record which ad click led to an inquiry. The reports we see are aggregated and do not identify you by name. This site does not show a consent banner, because it is directed at customers in California. Google’s own handling of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How pages are used

We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how our pages are actually used: where visitors scroll, what they tap, and which layouts confuse people. Clarity assembles an anonymised replay of the visit and sets its own first-party cookies (_clck and _clsk) so the pages of one visit can be read together. Anything you type into a form on this site is masked in your browser before the replay is sent, so form entries are not readable in it, and we do not use Clarity to identify you. Microsoft describes its handling of this data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Phone calls from this site

If you reached the site through a Google ad, the phone number shown may be replaced with a Google forwarding number that rings the same studio line. Google then reports the call to us: its length, the area code, and whether it connected, so we can tell which advertising produces real conversations. This site does not record calls. The number on our Google Business Profile, or one already saved in your contacts, reaches us directly.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them to serve you: an unanswered question, an open project, or a trade account in good standing, and delete them on request. Advertising cookies expire on their own schedule, at most 90 days after your last visit.

How to opt out of analytics

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without analytics cookies. Nothing here is gated behind them.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information, and the rights to know, correct, and delete personal information we hold. We do not sell personal information for money. The advertising cookies described above may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; to opt out of that, block cookies in your browser or use the opt-out add-on described above.
