Natural Stone
Limestone, travertine, quartzite — earth's own materials.
Beyond marble, the natural-stone family covers limestone, travertine, quartzite, slate, and onyx — each with distinct character and best-use cases. We source quarry-direct where possible, and select pieces for character and color consistency.

Common questions
Working with natural stone.
- Which natural stone is best for a pool deck?
- Travertine — particularly French-pattern travertine pavers — stays cool underfoot, has good slip resistance when honed, and weathers gracefully in the California sun.
- How is quartzite different from marble?
- Quartzite is harder (Mohs 7 vs marble's 3) and significantly more etch-resistant. Visually some quartzites mimic marble while performing closer to granite.
