Common questions
Working with metal.
- Does metal tile rust?
- Real metal tiles patina over time — that's the point. Sealed brass and copper develop richer tones; stainless and powder-coated steel stay constant.
- Can metal tile go behind a cooktop?
- Yes — heat resistance is excellent. Just be aware that splatter cleanup is more meticulous than on glazed ceramic.
